Agnieszka and Ben collaborate in the lab, each specialized in a different aspect of the perfume process.

We work with a library of approximately 400 different ingredients, which we utilize when we create a new scent.

Each scent takes between 30 and 200 trials, or “treks” as we like to call them, to get the composition to be well-balanced.

Agnieszka is our talented perfumer, and she has created every composition in the Nomaterra collection to date.

Benjamin, a trained biochemist and bioinformatician, takes Agnieszka’s perfume formula and scales it and makes it commercially viable.

All our fragrances our hand-crafted in small batches for precision and quality control. Only a select number of batches per fragrance are made each year.

Each and every bottle is hand-filled.

Each batch created goes through stringent analysis before hitting the market.

Every bottle is hand assembled by our team.

Our process from start to finish is made by hand, with labor of love and pride in our craft. Our fragrances are entirely made in New York and our bottles are hand-made in France and Italy.
