Goodness knows just how difficult it can be to maintain healthy eating habits on the road. Starting with the soda and snack options available in airports and on planes, and then there's the mini bar in your hotel room. Fortunately, there are a number of ways to eat healthy, and save money, while on the road! All it takes is a little bit of planning, or maybe a quick walk to the grocery store nearest to your hotel! They're easily transportable, and can be a great alternative to any other sweets that you might start craving after a long day of travel. Be sure not to overdo it though, because even though fruits have natural sugar, too much is still not the best for your body! Nuts healthy during travel   Any type of nut that strikes your fancy is a great option, too! Even picking up a bag of trail mix is a great way to stay healthy and keep your energy level up. Bring along several packet of oatmeal so you can create your own delicious breakfast with fruit and nuts to add a boost of flavor and nutrition!
